Ok people! i am stormhawk! this will be my first story! so i hope you like it! Chapter 1 "Dont worry Fernstep, your almost done!" mewed Foresttail, Thunderclan's medicine cat. With a final, last pain, Fernstep fell back on the moss that was her nest. licking her kits, Fernstep said to Oceantail:"What should we name them?" "Well, i think the tome we should name sunkit, for his yellow pelt." Fernstep mumbled a tired reply,"I like that name" said Fernstep, then she fell asleep. So, how do you like it?

Chapter 2 "MY KITS! MY KITS WONT WAKE UP!" Said a shocked Fernstep. It had been a moon since sunkit was born, and now, his litter mates were dead. "I'm sorry Fernstep, i don't know what happend." said a sad Foresttail. "What happend to wingkit and stormkit?" asked a confused Sunkit. "I...I'm sorry Sunkit, Theyr'e... theyr'e dead". Said a depressed foresttail. "You.. you mean... they joined...starclan?" mewed a confused sunkit. "Yes, im very sorry sunkit." said oceantail. "No.. that cant be happening!" said Sunkit, now more mad than sad. "I'm sorry, but there must have been something wrong with them... im sorry i couldnt pick it up earlier. Now why dont you get some sleep." said Foresttail, and so Sunkit did...
Sunkit woke up the next morning and said,"Wingkit, hawkkit, lets go play outside!" Then he remembered. "Oh, that's right..." and slept agian.
"He's been in the nursery to long." meowed blossomfur, a fellow queen. "I'll make him come out, sooner or later!" mewed Fernstep. "Sunkit, wake up and go outside!" meowed fernstep. "Don't wanna." said Sunkit. "He can't stay in here for too long, and then when he's an apprentince..." meowed Blossomfur. "Well, he'll get over it." said Fernstep.
"Oh,I hope you're right." Blossomfur mewed. "Don't worry,he'll be as good as ever once he goes outside!" meowed Fernstep,looking very happy but not very hopeful....It was later then that Sunkit finally woke up. I've been asleep to long, Sunkit thought to himself. "Well well well look whos up." It was Blossomflower who was just walking in with mouse dangling from her jaws. "Your father was worried about you, and are you ok, you've just been sleeping all day and haven't played with the others. Like your mother has told you." Blossomflower meowed in a demanding tone. "I'm sorry, it's just that I can't get over what happened to Wingkit and Hawkit." Sunkit meowed, looking sad again. "Look Sunkit, that kind of stuff happens to everyone, it happened to me when I was born." Blossomflower told Sunkit. "Really, are you sure?" Sunkit meowed, looking better. "Yes I'm sure. Now go get some fresh air and tell your mother I sent you." "Ok!", Sunkit called as he raced outside of the nuresy for the first time.
Sunkit walked around the camp, looking for his mother. Wow its so big. Sunkit thought. Sunkit looked around and saw so many cats. He wondered if all his clanmates were the same. Sunkit kept walking and then saw his mother talking to another warrior. "I'm worried about Riverclan. They seem so agile over sunningrocks. They know it's our terriority, but they still want it.", Fernstep said. "I feel the same way as you.", the warrior Iceclaw replied." "I know, I'll tell Owlstar about this!" Fernstep meowed, happily. "Fernstep hold on, don't you have a kit to take care of?", Iceclaw mewed in a question tone. Fernstep stopped then said "Yes I do, will you tell Owlstar for me?" Fernstep asked. "Yes, I will.", with that Iceclaw went to the highrcok. Fernstep had walked toward the nuresy. Sunkit, after seeing them talk, had wondered what Riverclan was. It didn't matter to him now, now that he got over his sadness. Sunkit then walked back toward the nuresy to find his mother and ask what Riverclan was.I hope she knows, but what if she dosen't?
Sunkit walked back into the nuresy to find his mother waiting fo him. "Sunkit there you are.", Fernstep meowed. "I finally went outside!", Sunkit meowed cheerfully. "I'm really happy you did and I'm sorry about your littermates.", Fernstep told him. "I know and I'm still a little sad but, can I ask you something?", Sunkit asked thniking: Yes, this is it! "Sure anything you want." Fernstep replied. "What is Riverclan?", Sunkit asked. Fernstep looked surpiresd at his question."Well, Riverclan is a group of cats just like us who live by the river and hunt for fish. They can even swim." Sunkit looked amazed, "Wow, that sounds really cool." Sunkit mewed in awe. "Yes but only when your an apperntice will you ever get to see one." Fernstep meowed."When will I be an apprentice?" Sunkit asked. "When six moons pass by.", Fernstep replied, until then, go have fun and get some food. Fernstep lookeed tired and then fell asleep.
Sunkit walked back out of the nuresy to explore some more. "Watch out, you stupid furball!", came a voice from behind. "Well sor-ree!" Sunkit snapped back. The cat behind him stopped, then said, I'm really sorry I called you that, I thought you were someone else. My name is Adderpaw and yours?", Adderpaw asked. "Sunkit.", Sunkit replied. "Your Fernstep's kit aren't you, cause' I heard what happened.", Adderpaw meowed. "Yes that's right.", Sunkit replied. "You are three moons old now I can tell.", Adderpaw meowed "well goodbye for now." Adderpaw left. Wow I'm almost six moons old Sunkit thought. Just then he heard a yowl from somewhere on the highrock and backed up. "LET ALL THOSE CATS OLD ENOUGH TO CATCH THIER OWN PREY GATHER BENEATH THE HIGHLEDGE FOR A CLAN MEETING!", It was Owlstar's voice.
