In Bluestar's book, she remembers Snowfur rushing her out of the nursery the moment Bluestar opened her eyes. Bluestar remembered this as a warrior. If Bluestar can remember the moment she opened her eyes perfectly, why can't her kits remember the first few days spent with their mother? It makes no sense.

Well, I doubt that Bluefur and Snowfur actually remember the incident themselves - they were probably told about it by other cats. Remember that Cloudkit, too, didn't remember his mother either, even though he wasn't taken to the Clan right away when he was born.

Cloudkit couldn't talk, either!
And kits are supposed to open their eyes about seven days after they are born. Bluestar opened hers one day after she was born AND she could talk! It's crazy!
b/c they spent so much time in riverclan that they just never remembered. and they only spent their first few days with bluefur. oakheart and graypool could have pursuaded them to believe that teir mother was a loner or rouge who had abandoned them or that graypool and oakheart were their parents all along. kits will believe anything.
Even Whitestorm hardly remembered Snowfur. Bluestar asked him toward the end of BP, and he said a little bit, but that was mainly because of having Bluestar around - Bluestar's scent similar to Snowfur's, for one.
