Hi here is a bit of my fanfic...please tell me if you like it! or if i should toss the idea!also there will probably be a few or a lot of errors..please excuse those! Prolauge A big gray cat crouched before the cats who stood in front of her. "Fawnstar," the gray cat adressed the small brown cat"have you a meesage for me?" She asked."Yes" replied Fawnstar,suddenly it became very dark. Then a voice rang out,"The Moon will come and cast a shadow on all the Clans"."Tell me what you mean!" the gray cat called, but the ground was falling beneath her. She awoke with a start.The dream that had haunted her for so long was about to come true. She could feel it in her bones.
Chapter 1 "They are lovely kits," came a gentle,deep voice,"have you given them names yet?" "Yes," came a gentler and closer voice,this one is Dawnkit,Sparklekit and Moonkit. Moonkit felt a tail brush her head. "Moonkit,"she thought,"is that my name?" Beside her she could feel a cat stiffen,"Oh No!" she thought,"There must be something wrong with me!" She desperatly tried to open her eyes but for some reason they wouldn't! 'Hush little one"came the gentle voice,"everything is all right." To another cat she whispered,"it IS all right isn't it Thundersky?" "Yes,"the cat called Thundersky replied,"you have fine,healthy kits." Then why was there something in her meow that she couldn't detect? "Come Rainwhisper, let's leave Skydapple alone," meowed Thundersky. Suddenly Moonkit realized how hungry she was and snuggled forward to feed. Soon, Skydapple's slow breathing told Moonkit she was asleep so she presumed it was time to sleep too. But then, why was there something nagging at her pelt from outside....somrthing that seemed to be...calling her? leaveing this question unanswered she curled up to sleep. She dreamed she was running, but to what?, from what? She didn't know...but something was calling her name, 'Moonkit".."Moonkit".."Moonkit, it's time to wake up." "All you allright little one?" asked Skydapple. But Moonkit did not answer, she was too busy trying to open her eyes. All of the sudden a blindingly bright light hit her! She blinked a few times to clear her eyes and was met by a blast of colors and lights. Beside her she could make out the shapes of two kittens, one who's fur was silver with white hairs that made her seem to shimmer."That must be Sparklekit" Moonkit said to herself."So the cat next to her must be Dawnkit. Dawnkit was pale orange with ginger flecks. She twisted her head a bit and saw a grown cat."Skydapple" thought Moonkit.She was silver blue with darker spots. Turning her head further she could make out to more full grown cats and their kits, but it was to gloomy to see them properly. Finally she looked down at herself, she was black as night. "Is that why my mother called me Moonkit?" she wondered"Does the moon look like me? She wanted to go outside and see, but her eyes were already closeing with sleep. "Maybe another time," she thought as she drifted into sleep"Maybe i'll see the moon,or find out what's calling me" Then sleep overcame her like a quiet black wave.
Chapter 2 (3 moons later) Moonkit watched as Sparklekit and Dawnkit scuffled. " Ha! I got you!," squealed Dawnkit, but her timing had been off when she had pounced on Sparklekit. "Hey Moonkit!," one of the apprentices called Stormpaw, meowed,"come over here!" As Moonkit padded up to him she heard him talking to the other apprentices," Okay watch how I do it on Moonkit." "Do what?" Moonkit wondered. "What do I have to do? she asked. "Try and get past me." he responded. "So it's that simple, Moonkit thought. She proweled up to him and tried to dart past him. He reared up and crashed down where she would have been, had she not already swerved. She raced past him and stoped at the tree. When she turned around the other apprentices were staring at her. "Uh-oh", she thought, "I must have done it wrong"
